A distinct & unique Goan recipe - more of a relish than a pickle. Made with prawn flavouring. Can be used to add flavour to a dip, or as a spread or even as a paste for curries.

Prawn Relish Recipe

Ingredients:

• 250g prawns shelled and de-veined
• 5tsp Ferns Prawn Balichow
• 1 small onion finely chopped
• 1tbsp butter
• 1tbsp oil
• Black pepper and salt to taste

Method:

Melt butter in a pan and lightly fry the onions until translucent and add the Ferns Balichow and saute over a high flame for a couple of minutes then put aside. Chop the prawns and season to taste then fry in a separate pan using the oil over a high heat for a minute. Stir in the Balichow and onion mix with prawns remove from the heat and serve with poppadums and naan breads.

Ingredients: Onions, Sugar, Sunflower Oil, Water, Salt, Green Chillies, Chilli Powder, Prawn Flavouring (2.5%), Acetic Acid, Cumin Powder, Turmeric Powder, MUSTARD
