Natco Moth Beans 500g
Also known as mut, mot, mat, papillon, haricot or dew bean, the moth bean is very small and brownish in colour, with a creamy yellow coloured interior. Similar in taste to the mung bean, but with a nuttier flavour, these tiny beans are simmered with other vegetables for a staple curry in North India.
Moth beans are a favourite dish in Northern India where they are slowly simmered with other vegetables and spices to make delicious vegetarian curry.
Cooking Instructions: Soak beans in water for 12 hours then rinse and drain. Cover with fresh water, bring to the boil and simmer for 30-40 mins or until tender.
Storage: Once opened remove to an airtight container. Store in a cool dry place.
